We announce the death of Andrew A. Harvey (Rochester, New York), who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 39. Andrew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Andrew will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Andrew will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Andrew’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his parents, Judith Harvey and Dr. Alan Harvey (Doris Cope); and his sisters, Dr. Katherine Harvey (Andrew Konopacki) and Kristin Harvey (Denise Krawczyk). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nieces and a nephew.
In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dr. Alex Harvey Neuroscience Research Fund at Georgetown University (https://secure.advancement.georgetown.edu) to continue the lifesaving work started by his late cousin.
