We announce the death of Andrew J. Leccese (Rochester, New York), who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 85. Andrew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Andrew will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Andrew will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Andrew’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel Leccese and Patsy Leccese; and his daughter Elizabeth Schweickhard. He is survived by: his close friend Marlene Kelly; his children, Susan Tuffo (August) and Andrew Leccese; his grandchildren, Alecia Gooding (Dillon), Hunter Schweickhard, Kayla (Edin Kemez) and Jacob Leccese; his great grandchild Arman Kemez; and his brother Leonard Leccese.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
