He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernardo Mercado and Herminia Mercado. He is survived by : his children, Wanda Wolfgang (Nicholas), Hendrick X. Mercado, Angelica M. Mercado (Joshua) and Miguel A. Mercado; his grandchildren, Ruben, Elijah, Jonathan, Madison, Raeya, Alexzander, Maximus, Kassandra and Aleinys; and his siblings, Carmen, Margaritas, Herminia, Aida and Eligio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
