Athena Kobryn Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Athena Kobryn (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Athena has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her mother Betty; her sister Vicky Woodward; and her daughter-in-law Amy. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her sisters, Elaine Kelsey and Suzanne Howell (Jim); her children, Lisa Mangold (Chris), Christopher and MJ; and her granddaughter Victoria. She is also survived by nieces and nephews along with many special friends.

She also asked in her honor any donations be made to Rochester.
