She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Kassirer; her son Steven Kassirer; and her parents, Abe Rousso and Sara Rousso. She is survived by: her children, Alan Kassirer (Kathy) and Shari Murphy (Sean); her grandchildren, Brenna (Zach), Patrick (Jess), Alan and Ken; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Kenson, Lucy, Whalen and Wyatt; her sister Gail Spitulnik; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome Kassirer (Sheridan) and Marilyn Kassirer-Wayne (Stanley). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Britton Road Cemetery (188 Britton Rd, Rochester, NY 14616). A reception was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 71 Cohasset Dr, Rochester, NY 14618.
