He was predeceased by: his parents, William McLaughlin and Lillian McLaughlin; and his brother William (Karen). He is survived by: his girlfriend Gloria; his sons, Justin (Felicia) and Sean (Lisa); and his grandson Eli.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1012 Lake St, Evanston, IL 60201).
