He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Shapiro and Rose [Schwartz] Shapiro; and his brothers, Arnold Shapiro and Dr. Melvin Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Ellen [Rothstein] Shapiro; his daughters, Jill Shapiro and Melissa Weissman (Mark); and his grandchildren, Ryan and Jordan Weissman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a community of dear friends.
