He was predeceased by: his mother Aurea Ortiz; his son Christopher Ortiz; and his sister Paula Rivera. He is survived by: his siblings, Juan Ortiz (Liz), Leon Ortiz (Terri), Mercedes Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Jose Ortiz and James Ortiz (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
