He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Silvio and Marianne Silvio (Cardarelli); his siblings, Larry and Carol; and his brother-in-law Joseph Fornieri.

He is survived by: his wife Peg; his stepdaughters, Kate Stiner (Kevin) and Claire Delaney; his sister Beatrice Fornieri; his sibling's children, Joseph Fornieri (Pam), Kathleen Diamond and Peter Fornieri (Ruth); and his great-nieces, Isabella, Janet, Natalie of Joseph, JJ and Helena.
