She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin R. Knapp. She is survived by: her daughter Sara Chaplain (Timothy); her grandchildren, Amanda Taylor (Eric) and Nick Chaplain; her great grandchildren, Kaedence and Aaliyah Taylor; her brother Paul Cushman; and her close friends, Megan Lute and Joseph Stotts.
