It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine (Campbell) Heyer (Rochester, New York), who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Campbell and Ruth Campbell; her husband Chester A. Heyer; her sisters, Janet Shoen and Helen Lautenslager; and her grandson Jacob Seth Davy.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Heyer (Laura), Janet Benson (Marc), Janine Heyer and Anne Chimera (Paul); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Colin, Samara, Alex, Cassondra and Carrie. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
