He is survived by: his children, Charles Gates Jr. and Dawn Francisco; his grandchildren, Joseph Laboy, Isiah Francisco, Ariana Francisco and Kourtney Gates; and his siblings, Ralph Gates, Randy Gates (Debbie), Debbie Daniels and Nancy Pattison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
