He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mayer and Rita Mayer (DiBease). He is survived by: his close friend Sandy Deveans; his children, Alysia Janik (Greg), Rochelle Anderson (Richard), Chad Mayer and Craig Mayer; and his grandchildren, Evan, Sophia, James Jr., Jondre' and Jared. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
