He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Mikel and Lois Mikel. He is survived by: his wife Peg Mikel; his children, Mark Mikel (Vilma) and Lynne Mikel; his grandchildren, Nicole and Janaina (Adam); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Wakefield (Bonnie), David Wakefield (Cindy), Sue Lavin and Annette Wakefield (Ed Walsh); and his friend Christian.
