He was predeceased by: his parents, Horatio G. Spafford and Helen Spafford. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Spafford; his children, Dale Spafford (Michelle) and Darla Spafford-Davis; his sister Judy Carney (Ed); his granddaughters, Maya Davis, Ella Davis, Rosa Davis, Rachel Spafford and Nicole Spafford; his brother-in-law Dale LaDue (Louise Jesserer); his nephew Tim Carney; and his nieces, Kelly Gerber (Ken), Deanna LaDue and Amy LaDue.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's honor can be made to Pinnacle Lutheran Church.
