He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; his son Scott; and his brothers, Eugene and Albert. He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Cindy) and Christopher (Tina Orr Ringo); his daughter-in-law Melanie; and his grandchildren, Cori, Jenna, Aidan, Chase, Sawyer, Jamie, Bobby and Kolin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
