He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Alston; and his mother-in-law Diane Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Kijana Danzy; his children, Duane Jacquis Alston, Danielle Carmichael, Jeremiah and Jordan Danzy; his mother Doris Alston (Frank); and his siblings, Melvin Harris, Keith Alston and Bernadine Coleman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
