He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Wiktorski. He is survived by: his wife Carole McGhan-Hicks; his children, Deborah Abell (Kim), Michael and Lindsey Tate (Theron); his grandchildren, Ethan Abell, Matthew Abell, Haydon Tate and McKenna Tate; and his sisters, Billie Jo Rawlings (Wayne) and Judy Dykstra (Chuck). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
