With sadness, we share the passing of Eileen Julia Barber (Rochester, New York). Eileen, born on August 6, 1938, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kildea and Helen Kildea; and her sister-in-law Beverly Kildea. She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Barber; her brother John Kildea; her nieces and nephews, Sheila, Shawna Kildea, Tom, Tim (Marcie) and Dan Kildea; her goddaughter Tracy Kane (Bobby); her friends, Ginny Klimaz (Vito), Missy Stoyle, Carol Stockslader and Mary Sweeney; and her pet Zach. She is also survived by her many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (15 St Marys Pl, Rochester, NY 14607). An entombment was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eileen's memory to the Verona Street Animal Shelter (https://www.vsas.org), The Isaiah House and the Alzheimer's Association.
