With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen F. DeChalais of Rochester, New York, who passed away on September 28, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen F. DeChalais to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her children, Katie (Heavenly Father) and David. She is survived by: her husband Frank; her daughters, Renee DeChalais, Danielle DeChalais and Elizabeth Mecca (Tom); her sisters, Betty Coia and Sue Klein; her sister-in-law Barbara Newman; and her grandchildren, Justin (Ashley), Stephanie (Jon), Amanda (Rich), Alex (Mai), Hannah (Patrick), Courtney, Colby and Emily. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leo M Bean and Sons Funeral Home (2771 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (20 East Ave, Fairport, NY 14450).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.
