He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ernisse and Florence Ernisse; his siblings-in-law, Lucille Phippen, Carol Simonds and Bud Peglow; and his son-in-law Bill Chambers.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Peglow; his children, Patricia Connor (Ken), Barbara Ernisse, Bonnie Dalious (Bruce) and David (Cathy); his grandchildren, Kristen Klink (David), Chad Ernisse (April), Katie Polcyn (Jason), Corey Ernisse (Kristen), Hannah Connor Hector (Brandon), Karla Dalious, Amanda Chambers, Kyra Ernisse and Kayla Ernisse; his great grandchildren, Kaitlin Marsh, Bennet, Davey Ernisse and Jackson Hector; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Peglow and James Simonds. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
