Emma L. Steward Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma L. Steward (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Emma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Emma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jessie Goodwin and Clara Bates; her husband Nathaniel Steward Sr.; and her family Emma. She was also cherished by children, she became a foster parent.

In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 in memory of Emma.
