Eugene F. Cassata Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene F. Cassata of Rochester, New York, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria D. Cassata; his son Thomas E. Cassata; his parents, John Cassata and Josephine Cassata; and his brother Joseph Cassata (Jane).
He is survived by: his daughter Maria Casanzio (Sam); his grandsons, Robert, Steve, Jason and Paul Casanzio (Delaney); and his sister-in-law Renate Attoma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. (219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (St. Kateri Parish) (401 Rogers Pkwy, Rochester, NY 14617).
