With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene T. Young (Rochester, New York), who passed away on February 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Eugene's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Eugene's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne (Antoinette Petrus); his parents, Anthony Giovanazzi and Theresa Giovanazzi; and his brothers, Richard, Anthony and Theodore (Ted).
He is survived by: his children, Mark and Lisa Bahr (Douglas); his grandson Christian J. Grasso; his wife Ping Young; and his brother James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; loving friends.
Donations may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners, Irondequoit Community Cupboard, Open Door Mission, USO, and Boys Town were recipients of his time and/or donations.
