With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Frank Messina (Rochester, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Frank left this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Messina and Maria Messina; his parents-in-law, Peter and Connie Zarcone; and his brother-in-law Carl Zarcone.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Melissa Hoffnagle (Ryan), Daniel and Kristen Duffy (Ryan); his grandchildren, Gia, Dominic, Georgia, Harrison and Declan; his siblings, Josephine Tantalo (Michael), Toni Caterino (Anthony) and Michael Messina (Sandra); and his sister-in-law Carol Roulty (Ron). He is also survived by aunts, an uncle, several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612).
