He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Sarkis; his parents, Fred Sarkis and Julia Sarkis; his siblings, Aileen Sarkis and Marshall Sarkis; and the mother of his children Mary Sarkis.

He is survived by: his children, Denise Sarkis (Helen Lombardo), Thomas Sarkis, Julie McCulloch (Robert) and Richard Sarkis; his stepchildren, Kathleen Campo (Robert), Paula Cirincione (Gerald), Jamie Kelley and John Fazio (Michele); his grandchildren, Nicolas Sarkis (Christa), Cody Sarkis, Jay Sarkis, Caitlin McCulloch, Shannon McCulloch, Reno Quinzi (Jennifer), Jennifer Vario (Tommaso), Nicole Packer (Travis), Alyssa Kuhl (Chase), James Campo, Anthony Campo, Alexa Putnam (Austin), Justin Fazio, Rachel Kelley and Amy Kelley; his nephew Ralph; and his niece Elaine Sarkis. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Fred's memory to St. Nicholas Church.
