We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, Gail A. Maier (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Maier; and her brother Richard Chamberlin. She is survived by: her brother Robert Chamberlin; her children, Suzanne Ballard (Roy), Karen Aldinger (Ralph) and Paul Maier (Michelle Ryan); her grandchildren, Ryan Ballard (Trina), Adam Ballard (Catherine), Chelsea McPherson (David), Jessica Iacuzzi (Christopher) and Joshua Aldinger (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Alexander Ballard, Deborah, Russell Ballard, Johnna McPherson, Matteo Iacuzzi, Joshua, Matthew, Michael Aldinger, Colbie and Jaxson Ryan; and her brother-in-law Richard Maier (Jean).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Patrick Place 2006 Scottsville-Chili Road Scottsville, NY 14546 or Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester 1048 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 in her memory.
