He was predeceased by: his siblings, Larry, Curt Simzer and Karen Simzer; and his parents, Henry Simzer and Alice Simzer (Smithers).

He is survived by: his children, Stephen and Stephanie Simzer; and his sisters, Betty Mehalick (Tony) of Saranac Lake and Judy Smith of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
