He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hackett and George Hackett Sr.; and his brother Donald Hackett (James Bunting). He is survived by: his children, Nathan Hackett (Cheryl) and Sarah Farr (Jamie); his grandchildren, Brennan, Gabbi, Grace, Carter and Reese; his siblings, Kathy Samuel (Barry), Teri Kotlarczyk (Mark) and Michael Hackett (Tanya); his former wife Linda Hackett; his wife Andrea Chilton; his stepchild Jocelyn Chilton; and his nephew Jesse Kotlarczyk.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
