He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scott, Sr. and Rosa Lee Scott; his brother Ernest Scott; and his daughter-in-law Essie Wallace Scott. He is survived by: his wife Shirley T. Scott; his children, Donnie Lee Scott, Gerald E. Scott (Ramona), Brenda Devine (Samuel) and Shirley M. Boone; his grandchildren, LaDonia Scott of Gerald, Donnie L. Scott Jr. (Tammie), Anthony Scott, Marcus Scott, Michael Scott, Serina Jones (Leon), Nikita Boone-Kachur (Alex), Tiffani Devine, Brittany Devine, Sharday Scott, Tylia Scott and Jaheam Scott; his siblings, Roy Scott, Lawrence Scott (Mary), Grant Scott (Shawlar), Jessie Taylor, Josie Mae Scott, Gracie Newton (William) and Lila Bryant (Roosevelt); and his nieces, Wanda Austin (Gairy) and Regina (Jerome) of Washington. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren & many great-great grandchildren.
