He was predeceased by: his parents, Cesidio Gentile and Maria Carminia; and his siblings, Mario Gentile, Rosa DiGianfilippo and Anna.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gentile; his sons, Joseph Gentile and John Gentile (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Megan Gentile, Andrew Gentile and Matthew Gentile; his great grandchild Madison; and his cousin Loretta Mastrangelo (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Theodore's Church (168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
