Gloria D. Battoglia Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2025, at the age of 95, Gloria D. Battoglia of Rochester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Mazzola (James) and Giuseppa Mazzola (Camarella); her husband Angelo J. Battoglia; her siblings, Ignazio Mazzola, Frank Mazzola (Marie) and Mary Jane DiPane (David); her siblings-in-law, Peter D'Amico, Margaret Nannini (Raymond) and Lorraine Battoglia; her nephews, David Battoglia and Dennis DiPane; her niece Frederica Mazzola; Giuseppe and Maria Caterina Battoglia (Filiberti).
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Kimberley), Gerald (Darlene), James (Roni), Richard (Kelly) and Andrew; her daughter-in-law Kelly Larson; her sister Betty Ann D'Amico; and her brother-in-law Joseph Battoglia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18+ great-grandchildren.
Unfortunately, she contracted Covid (3rd time) on April 30th and on the early morning of Monday, 5/5/25, she was having difficulty breathing, went on oxygen and comfort care and passed later that evening while in the company of some of her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria's memory to St. Ann's Community or to the Monroe Community Hospital, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
