With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gloria Kaplan (Rochester, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gloria left this world on April 22, 2024, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her husband Benjamin Kaplan; her parents, Sarah and Harry; and her siblings, Sadie and Harold.

She is survived by : her children, Stuart Kaplan of Rochester and Brenda Kaplan of Fair Lawn; her son-in-law Elliott Melnick; her grandchildren, Anna and Philip; and her sister-in-law June. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Britton Road Cemetery.

Donations can be made in Gloria's memory to Congregation Beth Sholom of Rochester (https://www.bethsholomrochester.org), the National Council of Jewish Women, the Jewish War Veterans-Ladies Auxiliary.

I met Gloria as a 20 year old working for her husband, Ben, at the Stuart Pharmacy 58 years ago. She will be missed by her family. It was a please to know her. Linda Robena Collinge”
