He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his brother-in-law Bill Richardson. He is survived by: his daughters, Audrey Alexander (Stewart), Jane Lipinski (Steve), Kathy Indovina and Anna LaForce (Ron); his stepchildren, Christopher Herbert (Darlene), Gerald Herbert (Lisa) and Donna Herbert; and his siblings, Edward LaForce, Gertrude Burse (Tom) and Frances Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sea Breeze Volunteer Fire Department, 4657 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622.
