Grace M. (Simonetti) Mastrella Obituary
We announce the death of Grace M. (Simonetti) Mastrella of Rochester, New York, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 89. Grace will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco A. Mastrella; her brother Daniel Simonetti (Sandy); her parents, Dante Simonetti and Concetta Simonetti; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Louise Mastrella; and her siblings-in-law, Frances, Phillip Gumina, Margaret, John Rice, Carolyn Mastrella and Louie Achille.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Mastrella (Stephanie), Daniel Mastrella (Lisa) and David Mastrella (Liliane); and her sister-in-law Mary Achille. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: 19 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. (219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holy Apostles Church (7 Austin St, Rochester, NY 14606). An entombment was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
