He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Murphy and Christina Murphy; and his siblings, Francis Murphy (Frank) and Edith Hebert. He is survived by: his sister Isa Bourke of Ireland; and his nieces and nephews, Lloyd Murphy (Patty), Christina McCrone (Dennis), Maurice Hebert (Chris), Donna Walz (Bill), Laurie Hebert, Adrianne Stewart (Mike) and Kenny Hebert (Val). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia Society in his memory.
