He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Preddy and Bessie Preddy. He is survived by: his wife Jean Preddy; his stepdaughters, Kathy Jones and Leisa Sabernick (Roger); his grandchildren, Heather Ayers (Chris), Kimberly Latham (John), Kari Jones and Allen Sabernick (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Madison, Maydelle, Henry, Adley Jean and Matthew; his nieces, Janet Hollopeter (Warren) and Cindy Love (Randy); and his nephew James Preddy Jr. (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626).
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Seneca Park Zoo in memory of Herman.
