He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Margrey; his parents, Isaac Johnson and Laura Johnson; his children, Hilliard "Butch" Johnson, Jr. and William "Bill" Johnson; his siblings, Isaac Johnson, Jr., Juanita Smith, Coy Johnson, Rex Johnson, Lola Mae Milhone, Dona Pack and Donovan Johnson; and his grandson Jeffery "Jay" Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Crooker (William), Robin Banister, Scott Johnson (Deanne), Jeffery Johnson and Jo Ellen Stinchcomb (Louis); and his siblings, Lillie Grace Denning, Troy Vee Dortch and Warren Kent Johnson (Cathy). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
