It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard G. Eckert (Rochester, New York), born in Theresa, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eckert and Lena Eckert; and his wife Hortense. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Eygabroad (Robert), Lynne Dodenhoff (Mark) and Sharon Schmaltz (Greg); and his grandchildren, Meredith Seeley (Bryan), Amanda Bonavilla (Michael), Bryan Seeley, Erica Dodenhoff, Alex Hawk, Alysia Schmaltz (Ken), Tim Schmaltz, Ashley Law and Brittany Gringer (Jason). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
