He was predeceased by: his wife Eulalie Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Howard Nelson Jr., Anthony Nelson, Sharon Nelson, Lenard Nelson, Persephone Nelson, Quentin Nelson and Andre Nelson; and his sister Jessie Mae Davis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, & friends.
