She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonhard Froschmeier and Maria Froschmeier; and her husband James P. Schwartz. She is survived by: her children, James S. Schwartz (Cheryl), Patricia S. Kiesow (Robert) and Thomas L. Schwartz (Danene); her grandchildren, Stephanie Kiesow-Edoh (Ayaboe), Kirsten Stone (Matt), Caitlin Kelly (Shane), Katrina Hess (Zac), Erika Schwartz and Thomas Schwartz; her sister Heide George; and her sons, Robert George (Donna) and Christopher George (Karen). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
