Irene E. Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene E. Johnson of Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Irene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Irene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Nickel, Michael Johnson and Christopher Johnson; her granddaughter Kassandra Kapica (Michael); her great grandchildren, Kiley and Chase Kapica; and her brother Gilbert Murray.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
