With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James M. Burns (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Burns and Norma Burns; and his sister Maureen Flaherty. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Burns (Kinmond); the fathers of children, Joseph, Jacob and Jack Burns; his grandchildren, Jackson, Cate and Colton Burns; his siblings, Lauren Bates (Patrick), Kathleen Russo (Richard), Patrick Burns (Carrie) and Mary Beth Nally (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Monica Reis (Scott) and Ben Kinmond (Heather).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Red Cross in his memory.
