James Charles Veomett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Charles Veomett (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville W. Veomett and Edith C. Richards (Helen R.); his close friend Jewell DiPonzio; his daughters, Linda Young (Veomett) and Kim Swan (Veomett); his grandchildren, Christopher Young, James Swan (Jimmy), Sheila Hundley (Young) and Lori Beth Veomett; and his siblings, Arthur Veomett and Nancy Bartosch.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Veomett (Jan) of Farmington, NY, Ricky Veomett (Angela) of Port St and Bruce Veomett (Sheryl) of Hilton, NY.; his grandchildren, Jason Veomett (Lindsay), Patrick Veomett, Jennifer Veomett, Lisa Jacquier (Richard), Christie Swan, Breanna Bartlett (Billy), Ciara Veomett (Matt) and Katelynn Veomett; and his great grandchildren, Philip, Julia, Thomas Hundley, Alicia, Ryan Brandt, Jaxon, Parker, Olivia Veomett, Logan Jacquier, Alexander Echavarria, Adalynn M., Berklee, Haevyn Bartlett, Beau and Colter Mank.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor (301 W Main St, Victor, NY 14564). The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534).
