James E. McCann Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. McCann (Rochester, New York), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McCann and Evelyn McCann; his in-laws, Raymond and Alice Keenan; his sisters, Sharon Magee and Marilyn Neeson; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Keenan, Richard Keenan, Hugh Neeson and Robert Narehood; and his close friends, Thomas and Rosalie Maggiolino.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, James (Robin), Kristen Maggiolino (Tim) and Patrick (Meg); his grandchildren, James, Michael, Kali, Kaitlyn, Kara and Alice; his sister Barbara Narehood of Niagara Falls, NY; and his brother-in-law Francis "Skip" Keenan (Melinda) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farrell - Ryan Funeral Home (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (1000 N Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626).
