He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Lawson (Byrd) and James F. Lawson; his sister Jeanette Marszalkowski; and his children, Teresa Whitt and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lawson (Buttaccio); his siblings, Nancy Howk (late Bill), Odessa Walker (Robert) and Warren Leisenring, Jr. (Deborah); his brother-in-law Paul Marszalkowski; his son Steven Lawson (Amy); his son-in-law Dan Whitt (Doris); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Cassandra and Zachory; his great grandchild Maybelle; his brother-in-law Ed Buttaccio (Maria); his nephew Chase Buttaccio (Santali); his niece Juliana Hixenbaugh (Josh); his great-nephew Brayden; and his friends, Joe Hoock, Dustin White, Vicki Bruen, Sheila Lyke, Kay and Kirk Graham. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
