He is survived by: his daughter Christina Elizabeth (Michael); his wife Carolyne Scott Blount; his children, James Ural Blount (Juanita Farrow) and Cheryl Gilbert (Christian); his grandchildren, Brandon James Blount, Justin Jural Blount, Cassandra Elizabeth West, Alese Nicole Blount, Michael Scott West, Catherine Elizabeth West, Chase Maurice Gilbert and Cameron James Gilbert; his siblings, Walter L. Blount Jr., Catherine Irene Joyce Blount and Bernadette Blount Salley (John); his nieces, Conici Anne Blount and Anita Nicole Salley; his nephew Jonathan Joseph Walter Salley; and his aunts, Elizabeth Wilson Savage, Lucy Wilson Butler and Marian Jean Wilson Johnson. He is also survived by cousins, cousins, extended family, and friends.
