He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Mistretta; his son David Mistretta; and his parents, Marion Mistretta and Betty Lou Tonne. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Barbato (Vincent); his grandchildren, Joshua Barbato and Sarah Scarson (Anthony); his great grandchild Matthew Scarson; and his siblings, Joe Mistretta and Marilyn Knapp-Bowers. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greece Assembly of God (750 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612).
