It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Brooks (Rochester, New York), who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Ethelyn; his wife Betty; and his son-in-law Wayne Keemer. He is survived by: his children, Carol L. Watkins (John), Gail Keemer and Jay W. Brooks (Rhonda); his stepson Gary Sears (Katsuko); and his grandchildren, Tammy, Tim, Kelly, Alyssa and Sky. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; many loving family and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hilton Fire Department in his memory.
