It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane E. Zimmerman of Rochester, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hatton; her grandson Mitchell Austin; her daughter-in-law Kristine Zimmerman; and her friend Joan Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Carol Anne Zimmerman, Mark Zimmerman (Anne), Martha Austin (Glen) and Paul Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Krista Zimmerman, Lora Christoffel (Greg), Kevin Freese (Emily Fekete), Brian Freese (Katie), Sarah Austin (Will Benton), Nathan Potthoff (Kathleen), Rachel Austin, Heather and Derek Austin; her great grandchildren, Cedar Potthoff and Owen Christoffel; and her godson Jimmy Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to School of the Holy Childhood.
